Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why we need it, and what we do with it. It covers Pentagon Computers, trading from Madurai, Tamil Nadu.

What we collect

• Your account: name, email address and password. The password is stored only as an encrypted hash — nobody here can read it, including us.
• Your orders: delivery address, phone number, what you bought and what you paid.
• Technical information: basic records our hosting creates when a page is served, used to keep the site working and secure.

What we never see

We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are handled on Razorpay’s own secure payment window. Your card number, CVV, UPI PIN and net-banking credentials are entered there and never reach this website. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded, and a reference number.

Why we need it

• To take payment and send you what you ordered
• To let you sign in and look back at your past orders
• To contact you about an order, a delivery or a warranty claim
• To meet our tax and accounting obligations

We do not use your details for anything you did not ask for. If you sign up for offers by email you can stop at any time by telling us.

Who else sees it

We share the minimum necessary, and only with:

• Razorpay — to process your payment.
• Our delivery partners — your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver the parcel.
• Our hosting and database providers — who store the data on our behalf under contract.
• Authorities — where the law requires it.

We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not pass it to advertisers.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept as long as tax law requires. Account details are kept while your account is open. Ask us to close your account and we will delete what we are not legally required to keep.

Cookies

We use only what the site needs to function: a cookie that keeps you signed in, and storage in your own browser that remembers your basket and comparison list. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking on this website.

Keeping it safe

The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Access to the admin side is restricted to our staff, and customer records are protected by database-level rules so that one customer can never read another customer’s orders.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email pentagon.madurai@gmail.com or call +91 98430 11823 and we will deal with it within a reasonable time.

Children

This website is intended for customers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
