Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use this website or place an order on it. By ordering, you agree to them. Please read them — particularly the parts about pricing and warranty.

Who you are buying from

Pentagon Computers, 183B, N Veli Street, Simmakkal, Madurai Main, Madurai, Tamil Nadu 625001, India. On this page “we” and “us” mean Pentagon Computers, and “you” means the person placing the order.

Your account

You need an account to check out. Keep your password to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to it. Please give accurate details; we rely on them to deliver your order.

Products and descriptions

We describe every product as accurately as we can, using specifications supplied by the manufacturer. Photographs are for identification — colours and packaging can vary slightly between production batches, and a manufacturer may revise a specification without telling us. If you need to be certain about a particular detail, call and ask before you order.

Prices

• All prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes.
• A struck-through price is the manufacturer’s recommended retail price, shown for comparison.
• Prices can change at any time, but the price you see at checkout is the price you pay for that order.

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation means we have received it, not that we have accepted it. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods.

We may decline or cancel an order — and will refund you in full — if the item is out of stock, if a price or description was obviously wrong, if we cannot verify the payment or the delivery address, or where we reasonably suspect misuse. Obvious pricing errors are not binding on us.

Payment

Payment is taken through Razorpay by card, UPI, net banking or wallet. Your payment details are entered on Razorpay’s secure window and are never seen or stored by us. The amount charged is confirmed on our own server from the catalogue price before payment is taken.

Delivery

Delivery timelines, charges and what to do about a damaged parcel are set out in our shipping and delivery policy, which forms part of these terms.

Cancellation, returns and refunds

These are set out in our cancellation and refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Warranty

Products carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Its length and what it covers are set by the manufacturer. We are an authorised dealer for HP, ASUS, Acer and MSI and will raise and follow up warranty claims on your behalf, but we do not ourselves extend or alter the manufacturer’s terms.

Warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, damage from power fluctuation, unauthorised repair or modification, or software and data loss. Please keep your own backups — we are not responsible for data on a device sent in for service.

Limitation of liability

Nothing here limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profit, lost business or lost data.

Using this website

You may not attempt to interfere with the site, extract data from it by automated means, or use it for anything unlawful. The content, layout and photographs on this site belong to us or to our suppliers; brand names and logos belong to their respective owners.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Madurai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published here when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
